Baby’s energy is surging, thanks to the formation of white fat deposits beneath the skin. (Have those kicks and jabs to the ribs tipped you off yet?) Baby is also settling into sleep and waking cycles, though -- as you’ve also probably noticed -- they don’t necessarily coincide with your own. Also this month, all five senses are finally functional, and the brain and nervous system are going through major developments. (thebump.com)

Weekly Survey ~ Week 28
How far along: 28 weeks (28w 4d)
Total weight gain/loss: +9 over pre-pregnancy weight
Maternity clothes: just about everything except a couple of tops, dresses and skirts.
Stretch marks: Just the ones from the Peanut getting MUCH more noticeable.
Sleep: What’s that?
Best moment this week: Peanut feeling Little Man kicking and saying "I love you baby brother".
Movement: Rockin' and rollin'.
Food cravings: Heath bars and decaf skinny hazelnut lattes.
Gender: Team peen.
Labor Signs: Nada.
Belly Button in or out: Sorta out on the top and in on the bottom. It's really kinda weird.
What I miss: Sleep and the energy that comes with it.
What I am looking forward to: Getting the Peanut’s “Big Girl” done and starting on Little Man’s nursery in our new house!!!!
Weekly Wisdom: If you have projects to do, do a little everyday instead of trying to do it all at once.
Milestones: We all survived the move into our new house.

Four Years to Forever
Four years ago today I married him.
And it was one of the best days of my life.
I am a better person because of him. He is funny, thoughtful, giving, forgiving, patient (oh so very patient) and so much more.

Holy Cow ~ Down to Double Digits!
I just looked over at my sidebar and saw that there are only 99 days until Little Man is due to make his grand entrance. Only 99 DAYS?!?!?! That's like 3 months! It is going by so fast.

Belated Blog Post ~ The Fair
We took the Peanut to the fair the last week and it was a pretty good day. She wasn’t really into petting any of the sheep or goats, but she did like seeing them, especially the babies.

We all really enjoyed some fair fare – Pronto Pups, Lemonade and Funnel Cake for all!
Then it was off to ride the pony.
I was actually surprised she did this and enjoyed it as much as she did. She kept saying “giddy-up” and “yee-haw”. It was really cute.
I think the highlight of the Fair for her was the balloon from the tractor dealer and riding the Wiggle Car in the Exhibits Hall. Dada actually enjoyed the Wiggle Car so much that we came home with 2 of them.
It was a fun day and I am glad we were able to go and enjoy it as a family!

The chickens and bunnies held her interest a little longer, but not much. She enjoyed sitting on daddy’s shoulders and seeing the horses in the stables and pointed out every time one of them pooped.
