A Christmas Meme

Since we spent the weekend getting our tree up and decorated and doing all the other things that get us in the holiday spirit, I thought i would share this list of Christmas questions and answers.

1. Egg Nog or Hot Chocolate? Hot Chocolate with little marshmallows and Egg Nog Lattes
2. Does Santa wrap presents or just sit them under the tree? Everything gets wrapped
3. Colored lights on tree/house or white? All white, all the way
4. Do you hang mistletoe? No. I am not even sure where I would find some real mistletoe around here? Florist, maybe…
5. When do you put your decorations up? After Thanksgiving – one holiday at a time.
6. What is your favorite holiday dish? Christmas morning crepes and bacon
7. Favorite Holiday memory as a child? Waking up SUPER early and going into my brother’s room then sneaking down to look under the tree before waking up my parents.
8. When and how did you learn the truth about Santa? What truth about Santa?
9. Do you open a gift on Christmas Eve? Only pajamas made by my awesome mama. Every year.
10. How do you decorate your Christmas tree? Growing up we got a new Hallmark ornament every year. My mom has given me my ornaments and we have started the tradition with Peanut and Bubba.
11. Snow ~ Love it or Dread it? Love it on Christmas only.
12. Can you ice skate? I could give it a try, but I am going to say probably not very well.
13. Do you remember your favorite gift? I love all my gifts, but when I was 5 I got all of the Strawberry Shortcake dolls in a carry basket made by my mom. I still have it. It was an AWESOME gift.
14. What’s the most important thing about the Holidays for you? Spending time with family
15. What is your favorite Holiday Dessert? My mama’s mud pie and fudge sauce, Grandma-Great Lundgren’s rosettes
16. What is your favorite holiday tradition? I love everything about Christmas – the whole holiday is tradition for me ~ Hallmark ornaments, jammies on Christmas Eve, decorating the house, 24 hours of A Christmas Story, watching Charlie Brown Christmas with my kids – all of it! 
17. What tops your tree?  Nothing
18. Which do you prefer giving or receiving? As much as I love getting gifts ~ I really LOVE giving gifts. Finding that special thing for someone is my love language.
19. Candy Canes: Yuck or Yum? I really like candy canes.
20. Favorite Christmas show(s)? Elf, A Christmas Story, National Lampoons Christmas Vacation, and Charlie Brown
21. Saddest Christmas Song? Silent Night
22. What is your favorite Christmas song? Silent Night, Baby It's Cold Outside
