Lovable Lables Review and Giveaway

(First, I need to apologize to the RAD folks at Lovable Labels for not getting this post up sooner. Between traveling out of town for work and the kids and other things I have been too buried to get it posted until now, but here it is, finally!)

And, I can’t tell you how excited I was when I got an email from the rad folks over at Lovable Label asking me if I would be interested in reviewing their labels. With 2 kids in daycare EVERYTHING needs to have a name on it or I will never see it again.

There is a label for everything in this pack and I started labeling things right away - sippy cups and shoes, clothes, jackets and toys. And I still have lots of labels to use!

The labels all appear to be holding up well to the wear and tear of a toddler and the dishwasher and washing machine. It is also a wonderful to have all of Little Man's stuff together at the end of the day when I pick him up because the teacher can see who it belongs to and put is in his cubby. Before, I would have to search through the jackets and shoes to find his things and pick up from school would take 20 minutes longer. Now we are in and out!

My 2 favorite uses though, is for the smallest clothing dots. The first is, I have labeled every cloth diaper and cover we have because those are definitely something we don't want to lose. These little labels fit right on the tag and hold up amazing! If you have cloth diapers, you know what the wash routine is like with them and mine look as good now as when I put them on.

Then I had a brilliant idea, if I do say so myself, and used the small dot on Little Man's pacifier. This kid is extremely attached to his pacifier and we are now down to the last 3 (and I refuse to buy any more because he WILL be giving it up soon, but that is another post) so we don't want to lose any. The small clothing dot labels fits PERFECTLY in the center and make his pacifiers easy to spot as his.

Wordless Wednesday ~18/52 ~ Mother's Day

We attempted to get a picture of me (I know, I am actually IN a picture for once) and the kiddos for Mother's Day and this is the best we could do with 2 tired kids.

Not too bad, but I look like I have been wrestling wild cats. Oh wait, I had been - see those 2 on my lap that didn't want their picture taken.

The kids had their school pictures taken in March and we finally got them. They turned out okay. I really wish Little Man's teachers would have put his shoes on, but other than that I like them.

Being the sentimental Mama I am, I would have bought all 3 entire packages (Peanut, Little Man, and the 2 of them together) but those bad boys are expensive. Like really expensive for just a few sheets of prints. It would have cost $150+ to get them all and I wasn't in love with any of them. I would much rather pay a great local photographer we like to take pictures and buy from her.

Anyway, here is to (what I am sure is to be one of many) school pictures the kiddos will look back on on wonder what the heck we were thinking when we dressed them, did their hair, etc.
